Stuff like this happens every day. Whether it's an off the cuff fairly innocent comment or a blatantly rude and uncalled for criticism- either of them can feel like all of the air has left your body.
It's so easy for other people to tell you to not worry about it but whether you attempt to take the advice or not, that experience can impact you longer than we'd like to admit. This is why I think it's important that I posted my rant after I read a rude comment on one of my heartfelt blog posts. No one is immune to getting hurt feelings, but letting ourselves feel through it and then move through it in order to continue living our truth is crucial.
Here is me. mad. ranting while putting on makeup.
not as eloquent as I'd like to be...I believe the word "dipsh*t" made a few appearances....but it felt right in the moment so I went for it.
I hope this makes you feel less alone in whatever way it resonates.
