Theatre Artist/Speaker/Executive Coach
Denise Stewart is an executive coach who organizations and individuals on:
--public speaking, presence, storytelling, developing ritual and discipline for wellness. Denise emceed the 2nd annual DisruptHR event at the Jefferson Theatre. Recent audiences and clients have included the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Government (Advanced Leaders Corps), Silverchair, Ameriprise Financial, Women in Internal Medicine Network, the Global Pathfinders Summit, and Darden School of Business at UVA. A past speaker for Charlottesville Tedx and a current Tedx speaker coach, her corporate clients and events have included Crutchfield Corp., MicroAire Surgical, Martha Jefferson Hospital, Kluge Childrens Rehabilitation Center, the Daily Progress, CFA Institute, Martin Horn, Inc., Real Estate III, the UVA Women in Leadership and Philanthropy Conference, the Womens 4-miler Training Program, Urban Grid, and Sun Tribe Solar. Denise toured her one-woman show, Dirty Barbie and other Girlhood Tales, at Assembly Hall at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, the 59E59 East to Edinburgh Festival in New York City as well as The Corner Store in Washington, DC, the Diana Wortham Theatre in Asheville, NC, among other venues. She is currently a Lecturer in the Batten School of Public Policy and Leadership at UVA.
