I wanted to call this episode "how to set boundaries without seeming like a meanie" but it seemed a bit long... But seriously, how many of us feel like setting boundaries is unkind or that we are being mean when we set them? In my head I know that boundaries aren't mean but I still have that little voice in my head that tells me it kinda is. Then I had this conversation with Becky and it really helped me see how me setting boundaries helps not only me but those around me.
