I’m Anouk Prop (1980) and I’m a psychologist, trauma therapist, registered Yoga Alliance (E-RYT500 YACEP) yoga teacher and reiki master and work in a holistic way on the cutting edge of body and mind. As a professional and as a person I focus on the growth and development of others and myself. I combine psychotherapy, trauma healing, yoga & energy work through their very compatible aspects and stress on the non-medical methods in healing for adults as well as children in making a journey towards themselves. Postgraduate education in trauma healing (Somatic Experience, NARM, Bodynamic and Polyvagal Theory of Deb Dana) in combination with yoga and energy work put into practice, I have a broad range of experience in the field in different settings, varying from working with children and adults with a history of abuse, addiction, anxiety disorders, depression, burn-out, but also physical accidents and other traumatic events like war, refugee problems or natural disasters.
Along the way I’ve completed teacher trainings in Power Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Trauma Sensitive Yoga en Y12SR (Yoga of 12 Step Recovery), pranayama, yoga philosophy en yoga therapy. In addition I followed several trainings and workshops in the field of psychology and awareness, like Mindfulness, CBT, visualization & meditation techniques, Reiki master and energy healing).
