Patrick Belisle is a self-described "practical mystic," who studied theology with Benedictine monks at his college in Minnesota, meditated with Buddhist monks in Thailand, and had a powerful spiritual awakening using breathwork at the Osho Commune in Pune, India. He and his wife Jane traveled around the world and around the U.S. for almost 4 years in search of the meaning of life.
Pat has worn many hats: He is longtime student and teacher of famous psychic Edgar Cayce’s readings, and had a 15-year tenure as a Director at Edgar Cayce's A.R.E. (EdgarCayce.org). He has also worked for many years with Dr. Ian Stevenson’s Division of Perceptual Studies (UVADOPS.org) at the University of Virginia which applies rigorous scientific research to NDEs, OBEs, children who seem to remember past lives, psi phenomena, and more. He practiced hypnotherapy for many years, worked with teenagers in many capacities, ran relationship workshops, and has officiated well over 50 weddings, baby blessings, and celebrations of life.
Pat currently serves as Director of Philanthropy for the Hoffman Institute (HoffmanInstitute.org), which has transformed thousands of lives through the Hoffman Process, a week-long residential, personal-growth retreat that helps participants identify and overcome patterns that developed unconsciously in childhood (Negative Love Syndrome) and return to their authentic selves. He and Jane are both Hoffman grads and live happily and authentically in Charlottesville, Virginia.
