Seeker/ Teacher
Kyle first started yoga in 2007. For the next five years he sporadically attended classes but mainly as a complement to his weightlifting hobby. In 2010 he had a major shift in his world and as a result decided to affect some real change in his life. He dove into yogic philosophy and asana starting a daily practice from the teachings of BKS Iyengar. Kyle soon discovered Ashtanga yoga and found his teacher Johnny Smith in Sebastopol, Ca. Kyle made his first trip to Mysore in 2015 and the following year he met the woman who would one day be his wife, Christina Exarchou. He was authorized in 2018.
A desire to improve his asana practice and gain greater body awareness motivated Kyle to start taking online Kinstretch classes in 2018. In 2019 he was authorized to teach Functional Range Conditioning. In 2020 he attended the Kinstretch training and for the next few years he continued his study becoming certified to teach Kinstretch in 2023.
In 2021 Kyle moved to Athens, Greece from northern California. He is a happy new father to a beautiful daughter Anna Lou. Kyle teaches Ashtanga Yoga with his wife as well as Kinstretch mobility classes.
